Ah yes, time for some (more) new CSS I think - a version of the lovely one I used for Traditional-Artists' journals.

Sooo Happy Christmas, Happy New Year everyone!    OK, last month's news but what the hell - better late than never!  No new year's resolutions for me, I never keep 'em so what's the point?  The event was slightly marred by having to quarantine myself and my parents in the house and avoid pregnant or elderly relatives (for some reason they all seem to fall into one category or the other) as we've all come down with a stinking cold that doesn't want to go away.  Meh. :(

And snow snow SNOW!!  The UK has come to its usual grinding hault and set forth on its usual complaining session about a couple of feet of snow (at most - we've only got about 5 inches left here).  For me, it's just one long snowball fight/photography session/opportunity for snuggling up in our new log cabin with a mug of mulled wine - OK, so we nearly ran out of potatoes and loo rolls... :giggle:  I'm heading over to the butterfly house tomorrow (not in my car - I'm a wimp too) mainly because I want to see their silly-looking chickens wading around in the snow.  Partly because they've discovered I can paint enclosures, and have yet to discover that next time I'm doing a large project with lots of fancy leaves, I'm charging! :mwahaha:

Art-wise, I've got a book on the go, which is of course why I'm distracting myself with stippling illustrations and taking snowy photos.  And I'll be uploading some of my publicity shots from the butterfly house soon. :D

OK, enough rambling.  On with the features!

And by a complete coincidence, it's Sunday so a perfect opportunity to begin my Sunday Features.

Sunday Features

Stippling
I've just discovered how addictive stippling is, so I thought I'd see who else has discovered this cross-eyeing, hand-cramping, irresistible technique.  Most of these pieces have criminally few :+fav:s, so give them some !

Traditional-Artists is now up and running as a group.  We're currently getting to grips with the new submissions and membership applications from everyone who was in the club before!  We'll be announcing the winners of the Tutorials Contest sometime soon, and sorting out the next contest when we're a little less hectic.
