Sunday Silhouettes and Fairy Tales Winners!

Phew - today seems to have been all about Traditional-Artists!  I've written most of the rules & guidelines for the next contests, counted the votes so far for the current contest, and now I think that's enough for the moment!  Time to update my own account and go and do something else...

Autumn seems to have come here early - only 3 days ago I got sunburned (only on one side, which looked quite amusing) and now I'm sitting wrapped in a cardigan with a cold nose, watching the light, annoying rain and dim, flat lighting that typifies this time of year in Sheffield.  It's quite depressing, really - we don't seem to have had much summer this year.


Sunday Features time - and this week it's Silhouettes.  Simple and striking, silhouettes can make a stunning effect, whether in photographs, paintings or in their original form, as paper cutouts.  So here's a selection of all three!

Sunday Features are now a regular part of my journal - they'll appear (almost) every Sunday, and each will have a theme.  The featured deviations could be linked by style, medium, subject matter…anything, really!  I'll try to feature a mixture of pieces - some may have DDs, whereas others will have ridiculously few s, but they will all have caught my imagination, and I hope you enjoy them!

The next contest at Traditional-Artists is a double one: a themed art contest about the Seven Deadly Sins, and a less conventional (for our club) contest about Tutorials.
