Well, this week has been eventful... Famous people popping their clogs and Wimbledon aside (go Murray!), it seems I haven't stopped "doing" for a moment this week! We're looking after a dog for a relative, who's lovely but it means our own dog needs constant attention to stop her sulking! But when I have a spare finger that's not tickling someone small and hairy, I'm either drawing or working on my dress. The skirt's nearly finished - woohoo! Still in the middle of these poem illustrations, art-wise - just over halfway through, so I may be uploading some of them soon...

Photography-wise, I've got plans to take the long lens out to an RSPB reserve soon, but everything's up in the air (haha) so who knows when that'll be!

Aaaand time for the Sunday Features. I've noticed that so many of my favourite pieces of artwork are adaptations of photographs that are stunning in their own right. So this week I want to highlight how beautiful photography can become beautiful art, and how choosing your reference photos carefully can really pay off.

































Sunday Features are now a regular part of my journal - they'll appear (almost) every Sunday, and each will have a theme. The featured deviations could be linked by style, medium, subject matter…anything, really! I'll try to feature a mixture of pieces - some may have DDs, whereas others will have ridiculously few s, but they will all have caught my imagination, and I hope you enjoy them!
