Well, it has been a while, hasn't it? I feel like I've rather neglected this page of late, but I would like to start updating and uploading again. It's been a very busy few years, and I've been throwing myself into a job that I love (I'm a zoo keeper) but one that sadly gives me very little time and energy for drawing. I haven't renounced my creative ways, as I've rediscovered my love for knitting, crochet and jewellery making, but I'm keen to get back into the artwork...so I'm back! :D New artwork and photography coming soon!

OK, so I patently am no longer moving house...unless it were the slowest house sale in history...which it wasn't.  I'm just lazy.  Well, strictly speaking that's not true - I am in face stupefyingly busy, hence rather less time for dA than I'd like, and lamentably late replies to people's comments, for which I apologise.  Must do better. I am still photoing (Is that a word? Do I care?) as you may have noted, but I am also still drawing when I get the time.  Earlier this year, I got several book illustration commissions all in one go, and once I've finished the first batch of them they will be appearing in my gallery in due course. Hello all - not much doing right now on dA, or artwise in the real world either. The reason is that I'm moving out of my parents' house and into one of my own. Boy, do I have a lot of stuff.  Mostly books & craft materials. So things are going to be a little quiet around here until I get moved, unpacked, furnished & generally sorted out.
